The food is amazeballs, but the atmosphere is not at all beachy. It was a nice day and they wouldn't open the garage doors. Great place to watch a game except toothlessberger owns part of the bar and no one likes that. I got the buffalo shrimp appetizer and it was really good but very spicy. Ask for light sauce. The Chesapeake chicken sandwich was bomb dot com as well.

My second favorite marsh walk place. Really nice view from their outdoor area. I think alot of people forget about this place down here & I really dont know why. Really good, large salads

We LOVE King Street at Market Commons but had no idea there was one on the inlet until I happened upon it on a random drive. Talked my boyfriend in going here for date night tonight. It was AWESOME!! The location is soo much better. Not only because of the view but the noise isn't as bad as the other. A must go to. Can I just have my wedding here haha ;) best food in town.

I don't do this very often. With almost 600 reviews under my belt, I have a reputation to uphold... that being said here goes: We live in Murrells Inlet and watched with anticipation the new restaurant open up, taking the place of an overpriced Mexican that didn't fly. This place is apparently a chain, there is one in Market Commons. If you are looking for the bar scene then look no further. Bikers Welcome for sure. Loud, smokey (yes, folks in there smoke like a coal burning power plant) and obnoxious (likely a bit too much Alcohol after a long day golfing or off shore fishing). Most customers are obese, hence their taking on the typical American dietary offerings here... Fried this and fried that. All this adds up to a disasterous experience for the gastronomically minded patron. This ain't no place for foodies. My wife ordered a Chicken and pasta dish that was no better than a frozen TV dinner. I ordered the Fish & Chips.... The fish itself was OK, but the batter was soggy and spongy and quite flavorless. The whole filet of fried and battered fish was served on half a bag of kettle potato chips (yeah, righ out of the bag). Maybe one should go over the definition of Fish and Chips w/ the chef. All this glorious mess for $17. Ouch. Well that was my first and last experience with this place. Note: if you go there for a cold beer... FINE. Diners look elsewhere, there are way too many offerings about MI to waste your time and money on this place. In all fairness... I must comment on staff. They were generally friendly and very accommodating and attractive. Especially our hostess and our waitress Courtney. That is why I have not given this place a "Terrible" rating. SaleebScore: Value: 3/10, Food: 2/10; Service: 7/10; View: 8/10.

I didn't check reviews until we were already seated, and I'm glad I didn't or we wouldn't have stopped here. They must have made huge improvements since the last reviewers were here. Our table ordered the Thai lettuce wraps, blue cheese burger on a pretzel bun, Reuben, salmon melt and huge chopped salad - made your way. Everyone loved their meals! The $4 Long Island teas and amazing waterfront setting just made it perfect. Will definitely be back.

I have always enjoyed the original King street Grille in Charleston and the Market Common location. Was very excited when I knew one was opening closer to me. Have been a couple times already and cannot wait to watch football games there in the Fall! It is a sports bar type menu and that is what I expect when I go there! My favorite is the salad. You can choose exactly what you like on your salad and the lettuce is always fresh and crisp and the salad is always great! Had a great waitress named Hannah last time I was there and she was friendly and attentive and did a great job even though it was a busy time and they are still a new restaurant. Great to have options of sitting inside or out, in the bar area or a dining room area - all with plenty of televisions to see your favorite sporting event. Great addition to Murrells Inlet!

Just ate at King Street Grille with the family and had a great time. Sitting on the outside deck with a marsh view was phenomenal. The food is typical pub food with some dishes that are "upgraded" . We ordered wings, Mac n Cheese eggrolls, salads, Texas Toast grilled cheese and Chesapeake Chicken sandwich (grilled chicken with crabmeat and swiss cheese on a pretzel roll with dijon mayo dressing). As I said the food was all served quickly and was very good. No complaints at all. What really impressed us was the staff. My wife and son both have food allergies and the hostess (Alexa) made several trips to the kitchen checking on allergy issues with dishes for my wife and son. Once we were seated, our waitress ( Dominique ) was AWESOME! She answered all of our food allergy questions and even took pics of the food package ingredient lists with her phone to let my wife read through them. Plus, she checked on us often to see if everything was to our liking. We come to MI often and will definitely be coming back

The management is very difficult to get along with. The manager refused to take a coupon that I had. Even though it was a valid coupon. The worst part is that he refused to take the free appetizer coupon after the appetizers were already eaten. This place will definitely try to rip you off. if you have coupons don't even bother bringing them. And if you have a problem with your order good luck getting it fixed!

Not much good to say about this place. We walked in just looking for a place to watch a basketball game. The property itself is set up perfectly to be a good sports bar, but the food is really awful. We ordered a sampler platter and a round of beers. The food took almost 20min to come out, which if it was packed and bustling I could understand, but when there are literally only 11 other people in the place it shouldn't take that long for apps. Of course- once we got the food I could see why there were only 11 people in the place. The wings weren't even hot when they came out. The Philly Steak Rolls actually tastes as though it had turned. I realize taste is subjective, but your food shouldn't be sour. I can't imagine most people come back a second time.

The view is great, superior even. Very slick modern looking appearance and a ton of tv's. I ordered the award winning chicken sandwich, it didn't really look or taste award winning, a bit like chicken jerky sammie. However the fries were good. I tried it out and it was...meh.

This is a very great place to come and watch a sports event or game. I would call this place a sports bar. There are plenty of tv's ( good quality samsung) , nice sized bar and a lot of seating. Standard sports bar food. Nothing fancy. They do have good drink specials. Not a mom and pop feeling small eatery. Staff was friendly, typical cute sports bar type female servers. All in all a regular American sports bar.

Great place for lunch or happy hour. Prices are good for the inlet. Just remember its a sports bar so you are getting mainly bar food. If you stick with basic stuff like burgers and create your own salad you will be fine.

Underwhelmed and disappointed sums it up. Having been to the Market Commons location I expected a lot better. Met friends here. Hubby and I ordered the Southwest Eggrolls as an appetizer (had before at MC). And they were bland and greasy. The asiago chicken which is my go to at MC was just ok here - not much sauce and little taste. While it was warm enough to eat wasn't all that hot temperature wise but I fared better than our friend whose chicken entree arrived cold. When he sent it back they asked if he wanted another one or to order something else - he opted for something else, his first choice was not available as they had run out of the sauce so he settled for chicken tenders and fries which he said was just ok but he ate it because he was hungry. What struck me was the indifference of the staff - there was no apology, just a comment that the cold food was on the kitchen, no visit from a manager and nothing comped at all - not a drink or the tenders or anything. There are many other places particularly sports bars in the area such as Icons, Dead Dog, Carolina Tavern etc that are much better and cheaper too.
